Data provided by the Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CDI) as an indicator of student engagement across difference
The past year represented an opportunity for students to truly engage in spaces without COVID related impact
of Zoom and mask requirements – students could be in community face-to-face. At the CDI, we have seen
increased engagement of our space by students from a wide-range of backgrounds. The common space is a
gathering point for a range of conversations from the latest social media video, different lived experiences,
dating, tutoring, quick naps, eating, meeting new friends, and more.
